LAHORE (92 News) – Accused Asad Bhatti – who confessed murder of former advocate general Shahbaz Tattla in police custody – has revealed that Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mufakhar Adeel added anaesthetic pills to Tattlah’s drink before murder on Thursday. According to the reports, missing SSP Mufakhar Adeel who is suspect in the murder of Tattla remains on the run while his personal servant who aided the assailants in the task has been caught. Asad Bhatti continued to make startling revelations about the murder of Shahbaz Tattla. He claimed that both he and SSP Mufakhar carried out the murder of former attorney general. He added that Mufakhar and Tattlah had been indulging in shots of alcohol when Mufakhar added anaesthetic pills to Tattlah’s drink. He explained that after consumption of alcohol mixed pills Shahbaz Tattla started lost his sensation and Mufakhar suffocated Tattla with pillow till death. Bhatti further elaborated that the body was then dissolved in acid, adding that the solutions from all the containers were discarded in the Rohi sewage. The safe city cameras also testified the reports of SSP Mufakhir’s vehicle going towards Ferozpur Road. Earlier on Monday, the sources said that Asad Bhatti, under custody of police during the investigation, revealed reportedly murder of missing former assistant attorney general Shahbaz Ahmad Tatla. According to the sources, a key progress was held in the case of missing SSP Mufakhar Adeel and his friend Shahbaz Ahmad Tatla during the investigation of Asad Bhatti. He attended the alleged dance party in the joint house of the SSP and Tatla in Faisal Town. The CIA police arrested Asad Bhatti on Saturday from Bhatta Chowk. He reveled about the murder of Shahbaz Tatla but no information related to SSP Mufakhar has been received till now. A key evidences have been found from missing SSP Mufakhar Adeel and his friend former assistant attorney general Shahbaz Ahmad Tatla’s joint house. The case of missing SSP and former attorney general took a new turn as police and forensic teams have found important proofs from the joint house of both the friends. SSP Mufakhar Adeel and Shahbaz Ahmad Tatla were missing under mysterious circumstances a couple of days ago. The police conducted search operation in the joint house of both the friends in Faisal Town. They obtained evidences and recorded the statements of five persons. Police sources say a drum was recovered from a joint house in Faisal Town and shifted to a forensic lab. Both friends used to have a shared party at home. There was also evidence of drug use at home. Police doubted that something happened wrong in the house. They also checked the CCTV surrounded by the cameras. Nine to ten people including SSP Mufakhar and Tatla have been seen entering in the house in the cameras. Police have also obtained CCTV footage of SSP Makhdar Adeel, in which, he is taking Shahbaz Tatla away from house. However, police officials have not yet confirmed that both were abducted or disappeared themselves. According to police sources, Mufakhar Adeel and Shahbaz Tatla have never traveled abroad. The travel history of both is also clear. The SSP was not investigating any case. Police recovered an SSP’s vehicle from the parking lot of a private shopping mall in Johar Town last night. The last location of Mufakhar Adeel’s mobile was Johar Town while Shahbaz Tatla last time called to Adeel. The wife of SSP Mufakhar has filed the application for registration case in Nawab Town. According to the family, Mufakhar left the residence at 9 o’clock Tuesday night but did not return, his number was also switched off. It is pertinent to mention here that SSP Mufakhar and Tatla were friends and belonged to Narowal. They used to go to parties together. Saddar SP Ghazanfar Ali Shah said police are investigating. SSP Adeel had joined police in 2008 and had served in Lahore and other cities.
