KARACHI (92 News) – Five terrorists were killed during the attack on the convoy of SSP Rao Anwaar on Malir Link Road in Karachi on Saturday. The police said that the attackers were 10 in number, while two injured attackers managed to escape. SSP Rao Anwaar had gone to inspect the site where DSP Fateh Sangri was martyred. SSP Rao Anwaar, who remained unhurt, told the media that his vehicle was attacked after being encircled. He said that hand grenades were also thrown on his vehicle. SSP Rao Anwaar said that his morale is high and he would not leave his mission. "I did not receive a threat after the press conference and my security has not been withdrawn." According to preliminary investigations, the attackers belong to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
