NEW YORK (Web Desk) A new documentary, Stan Lee: The Final Chapter, is set to reveal the troubling allegations of elder abuse and exploitation suffered by Marvel legend Stan Lee during his last years.
Directed by Jon Bolerjack, who served as Lee’s assistant and confidant, the film promises to shed light on the mistreatment and manipulation Lee allegedly endured from those closest to him.
Bolerjack, who captured hundreds of hours of footage from comic conventions, film premieres, and private moments with Lee, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the completion of the project.
The documentary’s trailer highlights the emotional toll Lee faced, showing how his health and well-being were compromised by those around him.
These allegations of mistreatment first surfaced publicly in 2018 when The Hollywood Reporter investigated claims of elder abuse, focusing on Lee’s daughter, caretakers, and business associates.
Bolerjack’s film aims to provide irrefutable evidence of these claims, offering a comprehensive and candid look at Lee’s final years.
It should be noted here that the documentary seeks financial support to complete production, aiming to expose the dark side of the entertainment industry and raise awareness about the abuse even iconic figures face in their later years.
