Standing Committee of Cabinet to be reconstituted

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Standing Committee of the Cabinet for Disposal of Legislative Cases has been reconstituted. The committee shall examine the cases of fresh legislation as well as amendments to the existing laws and give its recommendations whether they are to be introduced in the Parliament or not. The Cabinet shall subsequently ratify recommendations of the committee. Minister for Law and Justice Zahid Hamid would be chairman of the committee while Attorney General of Pakistan, Special advisors to PM Khawaja Zaheer Ahmed and Barrister Zafarullah Khan and Cabinet Secretary would be its members.
