KARACHI (92 News) – Test cricketer and star batsman Younis Khan has decided to retire from the game of cricket after the test series with West Indies.

The cricketer announced his retirement from cricket at a press conference at a local hotel in Karachi on Saturday.

He said that he will retire after the test series with West Indies, adding, “This is the right time to retire.”

“I am leaving the play today. I request to forgive me if I made any mistake. I tried my best to promote Pakistan in the game of cricket and make a name for the country through my performance,” Younis Khan said while addressing the conference.

We should call a wrong thing, wrong and should face the oppressor, he added.

"I am always available for the team whenever they need me. I have been able to play for so long because of my attitude," he further said.

Younis Khan was accompanied by his mother and family members while a large number of the cricketer’s friends were also present on the occasion.
