State-of-the-art AlphaP-guided missiles and warship PNS Tughral to be handed over to Pak Navy on Monday

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A masterpiece of everlasting Pak-China friendship, the state-of-the-art AlphaP-Guided Missile and Air Defense-equipped naval warship PNS Tughral will be handed over to Pakistan tomorrow.

According to sources, Pakistan Navy and diplomatic officials will attend the commissioning ceremony of the Chinese-made warship for Pakistan. The warship frigate has advanced radars, automated technology, communications, and sensors.

China Shipbuilding Trading Company, Hodong Xingwa Shipyard, has played a key role in shipbuilding.The frigate weighs 4,000 tons, has a crew of 165, has a speed of 27 knots, a landing and a hangar. The vertical launching system on the ship can target enemy aircraft, submarines, ships, ground targets.

An agreement was reached between Pakistan and China in 2017 to purchase four 054 Alpha P frigates. The latest Chinese-made frigates in the Pakistan Navy will replace the British-made Type 21 destroyers.
