Strike observed against murder of Maulana Adil Khan in several cities

KARACHI (92 News) – On the call of the Ulema Committee, a strike was being observed in the city on Friday.

Public transport remained thin on roads. Meanwhile, the Additional IG held a meeting with Ulema and sought two names from them for their inclusion in the investigation committee.

In Qambar, a complete shutdown was observed against the murder of Maulana Adil. All business centres remained completely shut in the city. The protesters burnt tyres at Shuhda Chowk and chanted slogans against the police for a delay in the arrest of the killers.

Strike was also observed in Mirpur Khas.
