Strong possibility of sighting Eidul Fitr moon in country today

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - There is strongly possibility of sighting the Eidul Fitr moon in country on Tuesday.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the crescent will born at 11:21pm and its age will be 19-20 hours on April 9.

On the other hand, the Shawaal moon was not sighted in Saudi Arabia. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are likely to celebrate Eid simultaneously.

Meanwhile, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet today to sight the Shawwal moon. The meeting will be headed by Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad. Representatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Pakistan Meteorological Department, and the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO).
