Suicide bomber of Mastung attack identified, Yaktoot attacker arrested

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Senate Standing Committee on Interior was informed that the suicide attacker of Mastung attack has been identified and an attacker of Awami National Party (ANP) leader Haroon Bilour had also been arrested. Briefing the committee, Balochistan Inspector General of Police Mohsin Hassan Butt said the suicide bomber, who attacked on Mastung rally, named as Hafiz Nawaz a resident of Abbottabad. He told that the suicide bomber was part of Daesh. “The facilitators of the attack have also been detected,” Butt informed senators. On Friday, as many as over 123 people, including Nawabzada Siraj Raisani, were martyred while 200 others injured in a suicide blast in an election rally in Darin Garh area. On the other hand, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa additional IG informed the committee that the person at the centre of a suicide bombing which claimed the life of Awami National Party (ANP) leader Haroon Bilour and 21 others in Peshawar had been arrested. Earlier, five people, including Haroon Bilour were martyred while 20 other where injured in a blast during a meeting of the ANP in Yaka Toot area.
