Summary prepared to extend two days in Eidul Azha holidays on NCOC direction

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The summary to extend two more days in Eidul Azha has been prepared on the directions of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) on Tuesday.

According to the details garnered, the Interior Ministry decided to extend public holidays on Eidul Azha after the recommendation of the NCOC. The Interior Ministry has prepared a summary of 5 holidays starting from July 20 to 24. The Interior Ministry will send the summary to the federal cabinet for approval.

Earlier, the federal government announced that it would grant a three public holidays on the eve of Eidul Azha, said Prime Minister's Office (PMO) sources.

According to the PMO sources, the Interior Ministry has proposed three public holidays on Eid starting from July 20 till July 22. The summary also stated that attendance will be mandatory in all public office on Friday.

The sources also said that the government would grant only three public holidays.

No official announcement, however, has been made by the government yet.
