Supreme Court should take notice of Punjab situation: Rana Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the Supreme Court of Pakistan should take notice of the situation in Punjab.

While holding a press conference along with Khawaja Saad Rafiq on Saturday, he said that it is the constitutional right of the Governor to vote of confidence on the Chief Minister. Elections are on time and assemblies must complete their term.

On this occasion, the Interior Minister said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan had announced to dissolve the Provincial Assemblies of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but he could not do so.

Khawaja Saad Rafiq said there is a gap in the decision of the Lahore High Court, instead of temporary relief, the court gave full relief to the Chief Minister of Punjab. They are thinking of challenging the decision of the Lahore High Court.

He has said that the elections in the country will be held at the appointed time. A coalition government has been established through a constitutional amendment. We have saved Pakistan from bankruptcy.

Railway Minister said that PTI has two provincial governments but both are not serving the people.

Tariq Bashir Cheema said that PTI is joking with the assemblies.
