Surge in COVID-19 cases: NCOC issues SOPs for government offices and worship places

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Following to the increase of the COVID-19 cases, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Saturday issued standard operating procedures (SOPs) for government offices and worship places.

As per details, only fully vaccinated individuals are allowed for prayers in mosques/worship places; mandatory mask wearing; maintaining 6-feet social distancing; frequent hand sanitization. The SOPs said that mosques and Eidgahs will have to install thermal scanners at their entrances.

Minister for Health Abdul Qadir Patel has also urged citizens to take special preventive measures against coronavirus. H said that the government is taking measures to control the spread of coronavirus. National Command and Control Centre meets on daily basis to closely monitor the cases of coronavirus.
