ISLAMABAD (92 News) – On the request of former president Asif Ali Zardari, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) extended its order regarding stopping his indictment in the suspicious transactions case until November 23.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has sought time for submitting its reply in court.

IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Amir Farooq heard the case. Former president Asif Ali Zardari’s counsel Farooq H Naik contended that the third NAB Amended Ordinance had been promulgated and the case should be decided in its light.

At this, Justice Amir Farooq remarked that the government might promulgate fourth amendment ordinance as well.
