LAHORE (92 News) - The Punjab police have been trying to record the statements of PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry and a female MNA after Chaudhry got into a fight outside her house in Faisalabad. The police reached National Hospital in Lahore, where Chaudhry was being treated, to record his statement but find an empty hospital room as Talal Chaudhry already left the hospital in a hurry. A fact-finding committee headed by a senior police officer, ASP Abdul Khaliq said the hospital staff has told police that Chaudhry had been discharged an hour earlier. The ASP said they will contact him as soon as possible and record his statement. The same day, the police also visited the residence of MNA Ayesha Rajab Ali in Faisalabad to probe harassment allegations levelled against Talal Chaudhry by her. On Sunday morning the police went to the MNA's house in Faisalabad only to find that she had left for Islamabad. The four-member fact-finding committee is being headed by People’s Colony police officer Abdul Khaliq while other members include the Station House Officer (SHO) of Madina Town police station where the scene transpired and the SHO Women Police Farah Batool is also the part of it. On Saturday, PML-N leader Talal Chaudhary was admitted to a private hospital after being tortured. Sources in the PML-N said that Talal Chaudhary was shifted to hospital after being tortured by some people. They said that Talal Chaudhary had sustained injuries to head and back. Talal Chaudhary said that the incident was occurred near Abdullah Garden on September 23. “I was thrice called for the party organization. Later, the accused tortured me and snatched my mobile phone,” he added. He said that Mian Qasim was also accompanying him. He was allegedly tortured by the brothers of a female MNA belonging to Faisalabad. Talal Chaudhary also belong to the same city.
