ISLAMABAD (92 News) – State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry said that Captain (r) Safdar, son-in-law of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was not arrested but he handed himself to NAB officials. Talking to media in Islamabad on Monday, he said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz believes in the supremacy of law and arrest of Captain (r) Safdar is sheer evidence. The minister said that the arrest of Captain (r) Safdar could have been avoided. On the other hand, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has on Monday said that the people of country would decide who abide by the law and constitution. Talking to media outside the accountability court, she said that Nawaz Sharif worked for building the country while the opponents are busy in implementing their disruptive agenda. The minister said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman himself is puppet of Umpire's finger, therefore he also views others like him. “Imran Khan indulged in money laundering using Zakat Fund and is not ready to answer about party funding but is accusing fingers at those who had accounted for each and every penny,” she said. Commenting on the PTI chairman’s speech at a public rally at Buner, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Imran Khan should present himself in the court to end his status as a proclaimed offender. Marriyum pointed out that during the last four years Imran only organized sit-ins, spread chaos in the country, resorted to disruptive politics and degraded the state institutions.
