Taliban blame Ashraf Ghani for pushing Afghanistan into chaos

KABUL (92 News) – The Taliban have accused former president Ashraf Ghani of pushing the country into chaos.

In an interview with Doha News, he said that Ashraf Ghani made a mistake by fleeing to abroad and he should return the money of the Afghan people.

He said that they are focusing on the establishment of a stable government in Afghanistan.

The Taliban spokesperson said that Ashraf Ghani had close ties with the UAE.

"It does not mean that the UAE will not have ties with the Taliban. We have our office in Qatar. We have ties with the UAE. Giving of a shelter to Ashraf Ghani reflects their policy. It does not mean they do not have a relation with us," he maintained.
