ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary has said that the government has first talked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) for ceasefire first and will see what happens next.

Talking to the media after a meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday, he said that they have been fighting this war for the last two decades and it could not be fought forever.

"The government will give an opportunity to join the national mainstream to all willing to join us after accepting the country's constitution and law," he added.

The minister said that all taxes have been abolished on the trade with Afghanistan. "Rice and wheat are being dispatched to Afghanistan," he added.

He said that Nawaz Sharif should return this month. "Why will he return in December? Shehbaz Sharif had given his assurance and he should bring his brother back," he maintained.

Fawad Chaudhary said that Maulana Fazalur Rehman indulges in such activities to warm up his body. "The opposition has tried its best to send the government home for two years. It will have to wait for two years more and then for five years further," he added.
