Sit-in continuing for four days at D Chowk ends peacefully

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The sit-in continuing for the last four days at D Chowk ended peacefully on Wednesday. The sit-in participants dispersed after offering prayers. Shah Awais Noorani said that Haji Rafique had played a key role in the successful talks. Rafique Pardesi said that he was happy to resolve the issue through the dialogues. Important conditions put by the protesters have been accepted. Sources said that the government would not touch the Blasphemy Law. They added that all the people arrested during the sit-in would be released. No leniency will be shown in the blasphemy case. However, the names of people on the Fourth Schedule will be reviewed.
