Tanker mafia start stealing water from Karachi canals

KARACHI (92 News) – The tanker mafia has started stealing water from the canals as the supply from Hub to Karachi was reinstated on Friday. The water supply to Karachi was stopped last year after the water level at Hub Dam reached the dead level. The water supply to Karachi has been opened after the water level increased to 9 feet at Hub Dam due to rains in different areas of Balochistan. But the tanker mafia has started stealing water before water reaches pumping stations. The police and local administration are supporting the tanker mafia.
