October 10, 2017
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Naeem Bukhari, counsel for Imran Khan, has submitted additional documents to the Supreme Court in the Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen disqualification case. The three-member bench headed by CJP Saqib Nisar heard the case. The counsel contended that the complete record of the Niazi Services account could not be found. “The architect returned the amount to Jamima Khan after the design was rejected. Jamima had sent 79,000 pounds to Imran Khan who showed the amount in tax returns. The real documents of return of the loan have been submitted to court,” he stated. Naeem Bukhari said that Imran Khan did not contest the election from 2008 to 2013. “Hence Imran Khan is not answerable as he did not hold the public office,” he said. CJP Saqib Nisar remarked that the record in your favor is found, while the other is not found. Akram Sheikh said that he will submit the reply if the court will issue notices in the miscellaneous petition. The court issued a notice to Hanif Abbasi in response to the reply of Imran Khan.
