LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Jahangir Tareen’s lectures to the nation on accountability is a sign of doomsday. Talking to the journalists after appearance before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore, the opposition leader said that Tareen, who was disqualified from the Supreme Court, is now lecturing the nation on justice and equality. He added that Jahangir Tareen’s lectures to the nation on accountability are one of the signs of judgement day. Hamza Shehbaz also expressed sorrow over Hazarganji blast incident and condemned the terrorism act with Hazara community. It is worth mention here that PML-N leader appeared before the corruption watchdog body in the case against assets beyond source of income and money laundering.
PM Imran Khan will have to apologize
Hamza Shahbaz said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will have to apologize the nation if allegations of money laundering against him could not be proved. He said that he received money through TT during 2005 to 2008, adding that he wasn’t a public office holder at that time.

He also said that say that he was not allowed to leave Lahore during the tenure of former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf and accused the anti-graft watchdog of withdrawing Rs120 million from his company but later returned him on the orders of the Supreme Court.
Opp leader accuses Fawad for statement on basis of lies
The opposition leader further claimed that Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry had accused them of money laundering worth Rs85 billion but the notice he received had mention of Rs33 billion and the NAB asked him about Rs180 million.

The opposition leader said that the NAB summons him to deviate the nation from inflation, adding, “I am ready to appear daily if it resolves the masses problems. He said, “The opposition leaders are summoned to NAB offices in order to deviate the nation from the current government s incompetence.” “I am not afraid of my appearing before the NAB but the people were being killed financially,” he added.
Hamza accepts money receiving through TT
While referring to the petition, the PML-N leader said that the NAB is inquiring him about the funds from 2005 to 2008, when he was not a public office holder. He, while accepting about receiving money through TT, said that whatever he did at that time was as per the law and tax regulations of that time period.
NAB attack on Shehbaz Sharif’s daughter home
The opposition leader claimed that police ‘attacked’ the homes of his sisters, adding that summon was sent to his ailing mother. He further said that in order to deviate the nation from the current government's incompetence, the opposition leaders are summoned to NAB offices. Earlier on Saturday, a NAB team visited the residence of Shehbaz Sharif's daughter in Model Town area of the city and served a notice summoning them in an assets-beyond-means case.
NAB chairman cancels notices issued to Sharif family women
A day earlier, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has cancelled the notices issued to Nusrat Shehbaz, Rabia Imran and Javeria Ali, said a press release issued by the NAB on Monday. The notices were cancelled during a visit of the NAB chairman to the Lahore. The NAB chairman was briefed about the cases of assets beyond income and alleged money laundering. He decided to monitor all the cases against the Sharif family.
