Tax evasion is not considered corruption in our country, says Khawaja Asif
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that tax evasion is not considered corruption in their country.
Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that more than three times amount of the collected tax is stolen in the country. “We will have no need to approach the International Monetary Fund (IMF) if we are able to collect the tax properly,” he added.
The minister said that steps are being taken to stop tax evasion.
