Taylor Swift return to London for her first UK show since 2015
LONDON – Taylor Swift returned to London last night for an appearance at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball, her first UK show since 2015.
The headline performance saw Taylor taking the chance to show off new album ‘Reputation’ by opening with recent single ‘Ready For It’, before going straight into ‘Blank Space’, taken from 2014’s ‘1989’
A performance of anthem ‘Shake It Off’ followed straight away, which was then followed by an acoustic rendition of ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’, her duet with Zayn Malik for the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.
The remainder of the six-song set proceeded to look at Swift in the now, delivering an explosive rendition of ‘Gorgeous’ before drawing the performance to a close with ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ – her comeback single released in August this year.
The brief set came after performances from the likes of Ed Sheeran and Liam Payne earlier in the evening.
Swift will make her full return to the UK next summer for a show at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on 8/9th June before heading to Dublin and London for two dates in each city.
