Tayyaba torture case: IHC frames charges against judge, his wife

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has framed charges against Raja Khurram, a judge, and his wife Maheen Zafar in the torture case of 10-year-old maid Tayyaba.

However, the accused pleaded not guilty.

The court also rejected the compromise agreement submitted by the parents of the maid and summoned eight witnesses.

The hearing has been adjourned till May 18.

The statements of Tayyaba, father Azam, mother Nusrat Bibi and Tayyba’s aunt will be recorded on May 19.
