Technical fault causes blackouts in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – The technical fault in Lahore Electric Supply Company’s (LESCO) four grid stations caused hours of blackouts in various areas of the provincial capital on Friday. There was no electricity in the most areas of Lahore including Bhati Gate, Riwaz Garden, Saidpur, Shadman, Shahjamal, Mazang, Rajgarh, Sanda and Islampura till the filing of the report. An official of the LESCO said that the engineers were busy removing the faults and electricity will be resumed as early as possible.
