FAISALABAD (92 News) -  A 15-year-old boy was gunned down by police, while his cousin received bullet wounds as officials mistook the duo for a robber for brandishing a toy gun on late Monday night. As per reports, police assumed 15-year-old Farhan a dacoit and opened fire at him while he was busy frolicking with his friend, Fahad, with a toy pistol. The wounded Farhan was rushed to DHQ Hospital where his operation continued for at least three hours; but, he could not survive and passed away at the hospital in Tuesday’s small hours. The bereaved family took the body home overnight. ddsdfdd dddd However, Police officials claim that reports of two two dacoits robbing the passers-by were received earlier from the incident. "When the party reached the site, they were attacked with gunshots by the robbers," they said. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister has taken notice of the incident and sought an inquiry from the Punjab Inspector General of Police.
