WAZIRABAD (92 News) – The Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) on Monday ended the sit-in after 11 days in Wazirabad.

The announcement regarding ending the sit-in was made by TLP Majlis-e-Shura.

After the announcement, the participants left for Lahore in groups. The participants have been directed to reach Masjid Rehmat-lil-Alameen and attend the Urs in Lahote.

Addressing the participants, Allama Farooqul Hassan Qadir, Allama Ghulam Ghuas Baghdadi and Engineer Hafeezullah Alvi said that the 70 agreement with the government had been implemented. "We will stage a sit-in in Lahore if TLP head Allama Saad Rizvi was not released," they announced.

Owing to the sit-in, life was badly affected in Wazirabad and adjoining areas. The internet service in Gujranwala and Wazirabad is still suspended. However, it has been restored in Alipur Chattha and adjoining areas.
