Temperature crosses 50 C for fourth consecutive day in several districts

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Temperature crossed 50 degrees Celsius for fourth consecutive day in several districts of the country on Tuesday.

The maximum temperature of 50 C was recorded in Dadu, Nawabshah, Larkana, Mohenjo Daro, causing extreme weather conditions for the people.

Several Punjab cities, including Lahore, Multan, Sahiwal, Bahawalngar and Bahawalpur have been affected by the heatwave. The temperature was recorded at 47 degrees Celsius in Bahawalpur and Sahiwal, 46 degree Celsius in Faisalabad and 45 C in Lahore.

A sharp increase has been witnessed in the patients affected by heatwave and seasonal diseases in hospitals.

On the other hand, the Met Office has predicted rain coupled with gusty winds in some areas of Punjab.
