Terror plot foiled, six terrorists killed in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The Law Enforcement Agencies have on Thursday foiled a terror plot by killing four terrorists in an encounter in Karachi’s Manghupir area. As per details, Police and Rangers foiled a terror plot on the Independence Day. Sources privy to the Rangers said that on a tip off the presence of terrorists in the area, the law enforcement agencies carried out an operation in Manghupir area. During the raid, the terrorists hiding in the area opened firing, in retaliation, four terrorists were killed on the spot. According to Ranger spokesman, the killed terrorists were planning to carry out terrorist activity on the Independence Day. On the other hand, SHO Manghupir said that the killed terrorists belonged to a banned organization and three Kalashnikovs, hand grenade, pistol and more than two kilogram explosive material were recovered from their possession.
