ISLAMABAD (92 News) - An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad removed terrorism charges against five Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) cops in the Osama Satti murder case and transferred it to the sessions court.

Judge Shahrukh Arjumand approved applications filed by the arrested accused against inclusion of terrorism charges in the case. The court also rejected a post-arrest bail plea of one of the accused, Muddasir.

The ATC referred the case to a district and sessions court to try the accused for the murder. The accused include Muddasir, Shakeel, Mohammad Mustafa, Saeed Ahmed and Iftikhar Ahmed.

Earlier, the 21-year-old student was killed on January 2 when the Islamabad police personnel opened fire at him for not stopping his car near Sector G-10.

His parents filed a complaint against the police officials demanding action be taken against them immediately.
