Terrorist detonates himself up during raid in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – A terrorist detonated himself up in Malir’s Rifa-i-Aam Society on Sunday during a raid conducted by police and other law enforcement agencies. According to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rao Anwaar, on a tip off the presence of terrorists, police and other law information agencies carried out a raid at a house in Rifa-i-Aam Society, when terrorists hiding in the house opened firing at police party. During the exchange of fire with the terrorists two cops Inspector Shoaib and Constable Ashraf sustained bullet injures. The terrorist then blew himself up with a hand grenade, who was later identified as Farhan alias Pehlwan. Farhan is suspected of targeted killing of police officers and Rangers personnel. On the other hand, a boy and her mother were killed while his father and grandfather received severe injuries in an accident with a truck in Karachi’s Nazimabad area. The heirs of the deceased protested in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
