Terrorists Facilitation Case: Karachi mayor Waseem Akhtar granted bail

KARACHI (92 News) – The anti-terrorism court (ATC) has on Wednesday granted bail to Karachi mayor leader Waseem Akhtar in case relating to the facilitation of terrorists. The court resumed hearing of the case relating to the facilitation of terrorists. The court also granted bail to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former MNA Abdul Qadir Patel in the same case. The court ordered the two leaders to submit their passports to the court. The Karachi Mayor has submitted a surety of Rs 500,000 and is set to be released from jail after necessary paper work. It is pertinent here to mention that Waseem Akhtar has already been granted bail in 38 out of 39 cases registered against him. He was granted bail in 39th case today.
