Terrorists’ safe havens present in Afghanistan: Kh Asif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Pakistan will respond in case of terrorism from Afghanistan.

Expressing his views in the National Assembly on Friday, he said that safe havens of terrorists are present in Afghanistan.

“There should be no politics on the Afghanistan issue. The opposition is in contact with the Taliban. These people have been offering designations to Taliban. I had stated in Kabul that improved relations with Afghanistan will be a good sign,” he added.

The minister said that it was their right to respond to terrorism to defend the people and the country.
