Psychopath kills eight people at different places in Narang Mandi village
SHEIKHUPURA (92 News) – A man reportedly in a mentally-deranged condition killed seven people at different places in Hachar village, Narang Mandi on Friday night.
According to the police, the accused had killed the people sleeping in fields, deras and streets with the sharp-edged weapon.
The people have arrested the accused identified as Faiz who lost his mental balance after the death of his father. He has been wandering in the village carrying an axe for the last few days.
After the gruesome tragedy, relatives of the victims staged a demonstration and blocked Muridke-Narowal Road. They demanded that the police should hand over the accused to them.
Locals said that the accused had injured his seven women, including his mother and a school teacher, a couple of days ago. He was handed over to the police, but he was released two days ago.
Sheikhupura DPO Faisal Mukhtar said that they had arrested the 22-year-old accused Faiz Rasool, a resident of Kot Abdullah. A constable, who was going to his home after duty, saw him fleeing after killing a man. The constable chased and caught him.
