The University of Faisalabad's 8th and Medical & Dental College's 7th convocation held

FAISLABAD (92 News) – The 8th convocation of The University of Faisalabad and 7th convocation of University Medical and Dental College was held on Saturday.

Punjab Minister for Public Prosecution Chaudhary Zaheerurddin, who was the chief guest, gave away prizes and certificates among the successful candidates.

Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhary Zaheerurddin said that the future of Pakistan is bright, urging students to follow the motto of 'Faith, Unity and Discipline'.

Chairman Board of Governors Mian Haider Amin, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Maroof Aziz and others were also present.

One-minute silence was observed in mourning for Dr Abdul Qadeer. The participants prayed for the nuclear scientist. Degrees were awarded among 1,308 male and female students. As many as 28 students were awarded gold, 38 silver and 27 bronze medals.

MBBS' Namal Almas and BDS' Maham Noor were declared the best graduates with eight and five medals, respectively.
