'Theft': Teenage boy thrashed to death by bungalow owner in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) - A 15-year-old boy was beaten to death by a bungalow owner and his accomplices after he was accused of stealing from his property in Karachi's Bahadurabad locality on Saturday. Police were told that two suspected teenage thieves attempted to enter a bungalow near Kokan Ground in Bahadurabad. The security guard in the area caught 15-year-old Rehan red handed while the other managed to escape. The bungalow owner with the support of his neighbours tied the youth’s hands and began thrashing him. The brutal torture that lasted for two hours A video airing on social media showed Rehan tied to a metallic grill as the owners and others questioned him. The boy could be heard naming his accomplices in the video, which was recorded by the owner and area residents. Pictures of the minor boy's dead body showed signs of torture. Rehan's father told reporters that his son worked as a butcher during Eid al-Adha. He said Rehan told him he was going to collect money for his work, but never returned home. Boy-beaten-to-death As the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah took notice of inhuman act of violence, police swung into action to arrest house owner Daniyal and his friend Zubair in connection with the murder. A case was registered against the suspects.
