WASHINGTON DC (92 News) – National Security Adviser Dr Moeed Yusuf has said that there is need to stop use of Afghan soil against Pakistan because Afghan soil is still being used for activities against Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference in Washington, the national security adviser said that India is involved in the attacks together with the TTP.

He also said that peace in Afghanistan is not possible without the help of the US, adding that Pakistan and the US are working together and the chapter of giving bases has been closed.

“Safe zones should be established within Afghanistan for the refugees. Pakistan cannot bear the burden of hosting more Afghan refugees. He said that Pakistan and the US need to work together to address the security concern in Afghanistan.”

“Unfortunately, Afghan soil has been used for activities against Pakistan in the past,” Moeed Yusuf said, adding that the territory is still being used for subversive activities in Pakistan.
