LALA MUSA (92 News) - Advisor to Prime Minister on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that there is no place of ‘trustee’ Chief Minister in the constitution.

Addressing a press conference in Lala Musa, he said that the votes of Q-League were rejected on the court decision. “The parliamentary party does not have a mandate. The real mandate is the leadership. Q-League members voted against the party direction.”

Qamar Zaman Kaira called for constitution of a full court bench by the Supreme Court for hearing the current political in Punjab.

Earlier, The Supreme Court had suspended the powers of Hamza Shehba as chief minister of Punjab. The court had remarked that the deputy speaker had misunderstood and took such a big action by misunderstanding. The court had summoned the deputy speaker along with the record to Islamabad on Monday.

It should be noted that a 3-member bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan has been formed on the petition submitted by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the PML-Q in the Supreme Court Lahore Registry on the issue of the election of the Chief Minister of Punjab.
