ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Former prime minister Imran Khan has claimed that there was pressure on his government to recognize Israel.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that a special lobby under the influence of America wants to get Israel recognized from the Muslim countries.

When asked, Imran Khan refused to disclose those from where he had received the message for recognition of Israel. He also refused the news about his contacts with Asif Zardari as well as Malik Riaz during the no-confidence motion, saying how he can strike a deal with the people against whom he waged struggle for 26 years.

The former prime minister said that the PTI members will not go to the National Assembly for confirmation of resignations as they have resigned. "Going to the assembly means we accept the imported government. There is no need to go to assembly individually," he added.

He said that there was no deal behind ending the long march. "There was fear of bloodshed if I had not ended the long march.
