Things for Champions Trophy’s venue, schedule moving in positive direction, say sources
DUBAI (Web Desk) Informed sources have said that matters between stakeholders for the venue and schedule of the ICC Champions Trophy are moving in a positive direction.
An emergency meeting of the International Cricket Council (ICC) was held in Dubai yesterday (Friday) on the issue of hosting the Champions Trophy, but no final decision could be taken in the meeting, and it was decided to reconvene the meeting today (Saturday) with an agreement that the ICC, PCB, and BCCI will find a solution together.
Then it was reported that the ICC Board meeting scheduled for today has been postponed.
However, now the sources have said that behind-the-scenes discussions regarding the venue and schedule of the ICC Champions Trophy are ongoing, and the ICC board meeting can be called tonight or tomorrow.
