Thick fog continues to blanket parts of Punjab

LAHORE (92 News) – Dense fog engulfed various cities of Lahore and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday with zero visibility on the roads. Several cities in Punjab province, including the provincial capital’s Lahore, federal capital Islamabad, Multan, Faisalabad, Okara, Gujranwala, Bhakkar, Arifwala, Kot Addu, Baseerpur, Shujaabad and Chunian have been engulfed in haze for the last couple of days. The flight schedule has been disturbed at Lahore Airport due to the dense fog. Various sections of the Motorway have been closed for traffic due to dense fog. M-I from Peshawar to Swabi, M-2 from Lillah to Lahore and M-3 from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad, Gojra remain closed due to dense fog. Commuters have been advised to avoid unnecessary travelling and use fog lights while driving.
