Those criticizing NAB Amendment Ordinance should seek apology: Furrukh Habib

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – State Minister for Information Furrukh Habib has said that those criticizing the NAB Amendment Ordinance should seek an apology as the government has adopted the constitutional way.

Talking to the media on Thursday, the opposition that is smeared in corruption should reply to assets.

He said that the government is working on national security bills. "Shehbaz Sharif and his sons are facing cases, while Maryam Nawaz is a convict. The opposition did money laundering and made properties through the public money," he maintained.

Parliamentary Secretary Malaika Bukhari said that no one is being given the NRO. "We do not do the politics of personalities. The performance of the NAB chairman is good," she said.

Minister for Planning Asad Umar said that the purpose of amendment to the NAB laws is to take the institution towards the real objective. "It was need of hour that there should be an institution keeping in view check and balance," he maintained.
