RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday has said that those who targeted innocents in a mosque can never be true Muslim. According to the tweet of Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR) Director General Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor, the Frontier Corps (FC) troops have reached at Quetta blat site and area has been cordoned off. The DG ISPR also mentioned that the joint search operation with police in progress and the injured are being evacuated to the hospitals. “Every possible assistance is being given to police and civil administration. Those who targeted innocents in a mosque can never be true Muslim”, COAS said as per tweet by the DG ISPR. “FC Bln troops reached Qta blast site. Area cordoned off. A senior police official DSP Haji Aman Ullah among 13 martyred and several injured in Quetta’s mosque blast. According to the sources, a loud explosion has been heard in Quetta’s Satellite Town area. The Initial reports suggested that 13 persons martyred and 18 injured in the mosque blast. The nature of which is yet to be determined. The senior police officer, who martyred in blast, has been identified as DSP Haji Aman Ullah. It was reported that the explosion shattered the glass windows of nearby buildings and shops. The sound of the explosion was heard far and wide, causing panic among the people. Soon after the explosion, security forces and rescue staff reached the spot and shifted the injured people to local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
