ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court has ordered PML-N leader Nehal Hashmi to submit the reply to his threatening speech by June 16.

The SC three-member bench heard the contempt of court case.

Nehal Hashmi contended that he had not received the transcript of the speech.

Talking to the media after the hearing on Monday, he said that he could not think of insulting the judiciary.

He said that Imran Khan had distorted his speech and he too is a co-accused. “A conspiracy has been hatched against me. Imran Khan had also hurled threats to the judiciary and he should also be tried,” he added.

Hashmi said that a force wants the clash of the institution. “I fear God. I am a patriot. I cannot be punished unless a crime is proved against me,” he said.
