Threats to female judge: Court extends Imran Khan's interim bail till September 20

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Raja Jawad Abbas extended the interim bail of PTI chairman Imran Khan till September 20.

During the hearing, the judge remarked that Imran Khan should join the investigation where he wants to join.

"We are not issuing any order or direction. The court does not intervene in the investigation. We do not want to give any proposal. Both parties should find out a solution and decide a place for investigation," he remarked.

Babar Awan told court that Imran Khan had submitted his reply several times. "It has not been written in the Section 161 that the accused must be summoned to the police station," he added.

The prosecutor said that the joint investigation team (JIT) issued notices thrice to Imran Khan who did not join the investigation.

PTI chairman Imran Khan with other party leaders appeared before court. Talking to the media, Imran Khan said that the terrorism case against him was an insult to the country.
