Three brothers among four killed in dispute over water in Chichawatni

CHICHAWATNI (92 News) – Four people, including three brothers, were shot dead in a dispute over water at 108/12-L on Saturday.

A man was injured in the incident. As per details, six people entered the house of Saqib and opened fire on him. Three attackers were killed when the relative of Saqib retaliated. The deceased include: Asif Banto, Asghar and Waseem.

Later, unknown people shot dead an injured in Hospital’s Emergency Ward.

Both parties had quarreled with each other over the water issue a few days back.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident, seeking a report from the Sahiwal RPO.

He also ordered to arrest the accused at the earliest. He said that justice would be provided to the relatives of the deceased.

On the other hand, IGP Punjab Inam Ghani has ordered to arrest the accused at the earliest. He also sought a report from the Sahiwal RPO.
