Three burnt alive as fire erupts at thread factory in Karachi’s Baldia
KARACHI (92 News) - At least three persons were burnt alive following a fire erupted in a thread factory in Baldia Sector 5 of Karachi on Wednesday.
According to the reports, the blaze quickly spread and engulfed the three floors of the factory. Four fire brigade vehicles and a snorkel reached the spot and started operation and brought the fire under control after a hectic effort of more than five hours.
During the rescue operation, a firefighter was also wounded, whereas, three people lost their lives due to the blaze. The cause of the fire was not yet known so far. The deceased persons were identified as Muhammad Kazim, Fayyaz and Sher Ali.
