Three children die, 20 injured in rain-related incidents across country

ISLAMABAD/KARACHI (92 news) – As many as three children were killed while 20 people, including children, were injured in rain-related incidents across the country.

The incidents were reported in Lahore, Kohat, Mianwali, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura and Faisalabad.

On the other hand, rainwater entered wards in Ayub Medical Complex. Different departments, including the neurosurgery ward, presented a pond-like look.

Rain with intervals continued to pour in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Chiniot, Chunian and other cities. With the start of the downpour, several feeders tripped.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has ordered the district administration and the WASA to remain alert. He has ordered the disposal of water at the earliest.
