RAWALPINDI (92 News) – At least three citizens including two women were injured when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked cease fire violations in Khuiratta, Kotli, Battal and Rawalakot sectors on Sunday. In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian troops targeted civil population. Pakistan army troops effectively responded to Indian posts from where firing was initiated silencing the enemy’s guns. Indian forces have carried out more than 70 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary in first month of this year which resulted in martyrdom of one innocent civilian and injuries to five others. The unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing since last year when its forces committed more than 1,900 ceasefire violations.
