Three dacoits killed in alleged police shootout

LAHORE (92 News) – At least three dacoits were killed in an alleged encounter with police, while a prisoner was killed mysteriously in Kot Lakhpat Jail on Friday.

As per details, on information gathered from an accused namely Muhammad Shahid, who was already in custody, police carried out an operation in Lakhodair area when the dacoits opened firing at police party, in retaliation, three robbers were killer on the spot.

On the other hand, a prisoner namely Abdul Ghafoor, 41, was killed mysteriously in Kot Lakhpat Jail. The body of the deceased was shifted to Jinnah hospital for autopsy.

Meanwhile, police have allegedly tortured to death a man in Lahore’s Railway Station area.
